Teh addition of this feature would allow either more Notes to be displayed and/or give the user a better understanding of the Note’s contents.Īnd finally, I have noticed one minor issue. The option of setting line preview preferences for Notes, something as simple as 1-3 line preview as found in most email clients. For my particular use-case, the ideal layout would be: Clipboard | Scratchpad | Notes.ģ. That could be a replacement for the stock Stickies app and would be highly useful for jotting down content that doesn’t merit saving as a file/note. Included an option separate panel as a scratchpad. Perhaps support for RTF would do the trick.Ģ. The ability to change the font (size, color, style) of your notes. However, there are a few items I wish had been included:ġ. ![]() This is a highly useful tool, which I am pleased to have purchased. That said, I’ll keep an eye on future development as I’m sure the app will continue to improve. So overall, while this is a good app, none of it’s three tools are better than the tools I already use for each purpose. Again, Yoink and Dropzone seem to get this right. Likewise, files dragged as a group should remain grouped so they can easily be dragged out. Yoink seems to handle this better, so I’ll keep using that for now as well.ħ. ![]() As others have mentioned, the option to actually move a file vs save a reference to a file should be an option. This is a minor issue and easily ignored, but worth mentioning.Ħ. It can only be replaced by something else. Clearing the field does not clear the value. There is a ‘Files’ card, a ‘Notes’ card and one that shows the contents of your Clipboard. You invoke the tray by moving the mouse to the top of the menubar. Unclutter is a tiny Menubar utility that opens a tray from the top of the Desktop, revealing three little windows called ‘cards’. If you’ve ever wished for a way to not get into that mess, Unclutter is here to help you. Over time, these files start piling up on the Desktop, making it untidy and messy. Often when I’m working on something with a lot of apps open, I end up saving files directly on the Desktop so that they’re easier to access during the course of the project and also easy to remember. I just stumbled across Unclutter App while browsing the Mac App Store today and instantly realized what a great little utility it was.
